Client Testimonial:

Aloha Chris,
After using your Water Hog buckets on recent fires, Don and the other pilots have rave reviews, your product proved to be reliable with little or no maintenance. In the past few weeks, Maui has seen brush fires that required the pilots to fly up to 9 hours per day for 4 days, never once did they have problems with your product. We are recommending that our local Fire Department purchase 2-3 more Water Hogs from you to replace the current Bambi Buckets.

Kind Regards,
Donna Shearer, Windward Aviation Inc, Hawaii (Operate five x 400 litre Water Hogs)

Postscript: Windward Aviation order for three additional Water Hog 400 litre buckets filled July 2007.

Client Testimonial:

Hi Chris,

To anyone considering updating their fire fighting tools, I could highly recommend the Water Hog buckets. Over the last decade I have flown on many fires with almost all of the other brands of water buckets that are available. I have had almost every type of malfunction that could be imagined, with the most common being a failure to release the water on command, often putting both the pilot and helicopter in a precarious spot. I have had broken release cables and leaking udders and the maintenance of the bucket sometimes rivalling that of the helicopter. Always we have had to keep two buckets with the helicopter to ensure that one was functioning.
Since acquiring our first Water Hog we have never and I repeat never had one fail to release on command. We have had virtually no maintenance, but the best part is the pattern, coupled with the ability to provide multiple drops over a given spot. The bucket has very quick action allowing for a salvo drop or with just a fast touch of the button allowing for a trail drop in grass fire situations. This is our first season with a refill pump installed, but on our very first fire the only suitable pond was over 6 miles away, no problem, we found a small stream only half a mile away and began working. The stream was about 12 inches deep and it takes about 30 seconds to refill up to 340 gallons.  The durability of the bucket has been unbelievable, our high time bucket has in excess of 400 hours of actual fire fighting time . It has been dropped during an emergency from over 50 feet and this bucket still functions and looks the same as when it was new.

Again anyone considering an upgrade in their fire fighting tools would be foolish, if they did not consider a Water Hog....
